The Monetary Award Program (MAP) is a grant program administered by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and funded by the State of Illinois. Nonprofit organizations, local governments, faith-based organizations, businesses, and other community or neighborhood associations may apply for grants individually or in a collaborative with other groups. Six hundred and one million dollars in grants will be available in the new fiscal year that starts next month.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ®) serves as the application for the MAP grant.
To receive a MAP grant, a student must: be a U. The MAP Grant is a state-funded, need-based grant awarded by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. The MAP Grant award amount is an estimate made by the financial aid office and is identified as a "State of IL MAP Grant (Est)".
